Yeah, I know I could obviously get more computer for the money (and have more flexibility with upgrading) with a desktop, but a laptop is just much more convenient for me.
Plus, the base laptop was only like $650 or around there.
Put out like another $150 on the mSATA SSD, and like $80 on a second 1TB drive.
Also going to upgrade the wireless card to AC for like $30, and get a hard drive caddy for the optical bay for like $30, and get another 1TB drive for that.
So, in the end, will end up putting out around $1000 on it, but will have a laptop with 3TB of regular storage and a 120GB SSD, which is pretty nifty.
And those upgrade parts will be useful for whenever I upgrade to another laptop too.
Anyway, frankly, a quad-core i7 and a geForce 650m 2GB is more than enough for the types of games I play
So, see, I am actually relatively up-to-date on some stuff
