Reappearing toothbrush

I brushed my teeth with a toothbrush on Saturday morning at about 4 AM after a party. It was getting kinda bad, so after I used it i threw it away in the trash can. I put a new toothbrush, a red one, in the toothbrush holder.

I woke up at around 12 PM, went into the bathroom again at around 3 PM. The green toothbrush, which I had thrown away less than 12 hours ago into the trash can was back in the toothbrush holder, along with the red one.

WTF???


I threw it away again. I took a shower, went out to dinner, came back. I told the story to a couple of roommates and they were freaked out. I hadn't been in the bathroom at this point, and one of them said the toothbrush was back again.

I couldn't believe it. I went in there with them and it was there AGAIN!

I threw it away a final time, and we put it on top of a tampon to make sure that it didn't get out of the trash can again.

This is a series of strange occurrences going on in the bathroom -- USED razors have disappeared from the trash can, toilet has been full of shit and not flushed repeatedly, and the toilet paper essentially disappears because the trash can fills up.

We have a senior citizen that lives with us, and we know it is him doing all of this stuff.

So, today in the morning, I was awake at 5:30 AM -- the senior citizen guy had already gotten ready and left by that time... and I notice there is now a new toothbrush that isn't mine in the toothbrush holder all of a sudden. My green toothbrush had been the only one in there up until the point where i replaced it.

This begs the following questions:

Why is he now all of a sudden using the toothbrush holder after the previous events with my old toothbrush?
Why was he taking MY toothbrush out of the trash can -- TWICE -- and putting it back into the toothbrush holder along with my new one?
WAS HE USING MY TOOTHBRUSH????? IS THAT WHY HE WAS DIGGING IT OUT OF THE TRASH CAN???? WHAT THE FUCK???????????????

I've never had this issue before. I may have to start doing that with the toothbrush at least.

I'm going to have to talk to him about the bathroom stuff today, though. Not flushing and using my toothbrush is not going to fly.

yeah, he definitely thought the green brush was his and had been using it all along. I bet he figured you were disgusting for not owning a toothbrush.

So, let's say we were sharing a toothbrush. What sort of issues should I be worried about? Can i get diseased gums or something from this or is it just going to be "more germs" than i otherwise would have gotten?

The real thing that does me is DUDE FORMAT YOUR SHIT. Fuck, some sentences ending with punctuation, some not, sometimes caps.
Just gross to look at them on the list.

I thought at first that this was just some kind of amusing e-story that you found online. But...did this really happen to you? Also, you don't need to go living with some oldster like that, especially not a gross one.

I hope you told him off, packed his stuff in a suitcase and threw it on the sidewalk(after you collected rent money lol).

Really though, I've witnessed someone using a water jug as a urinal before, that they previously had their water in. If I hadn't thrown it away, they probably would have refilled it with water.
